About us

A tour with me, or with one of the guides in our team, is going to be informative and a fun day. We love customizing the tour to your interests, your pace and your wishes, even during the tour. Private groups only, as small as a couple or as large as your entire family. Always trying to avoid the crowds and the big bus tour places.

My personal interests are history, World War 2, Amsterdams city geography, the Jewish history in Holland, Vincent van Gogh, the Dutch countryside and anything below sealevel.

Experience

I have more than 20 years experience in tourism. Besides tours in The Netherlands, I organise travel all over the world for the Dutch market (see v-incentive.nl). Therefore I know what a traveller, or a travel agent, wants from a guide. For the groups that I send to the different destinations, I only want to work with reliable and professional local guides, who will do their upmost to make my groups happy. At Vincent Holland Tours, we treat our guests the same way as we want our guests to be treated abroad. We want them to come home with enthusiastic stories about Holland and Vincent Holland Tours.

Special interest tours / other languages

Please let me know in case you are looking for a guide for a tour with a specific theme, like architecture, floriculture, a certain museum or painter or any other subject. Vincent Holland Tours has excellent guides in its network, specialized in all kinds of disciplines.

Besides English, we can offer tours in most other languages like Francais, Deutsch, Español, Portugues, Italiano, Türk, ελληνικά, baseny and русский.

Transportation

Our tours are operated by licensed vehicles. Drivers and car have all necessary licenses and insurances. Our Volkswagen Transporter minibus can have eight passengers. Bigger groups will be driven by our 19 seater, 30 seater, 55 or 90 seater bus. These busses do come with an official driver so if your group is bigger than eight people, you will have a guide and a driver.

Transfers

We can help you with your private transfers. Arriving airporttransfers we only offer including Meet & Greet. Our driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall, holding a sign (your name). Airporttransfers for groups are always done with a tourassistant that accompanies the busdriver and will take care of the luggage.

Hotels

We work with 5 star, 4 star and some 3star hotels in Amsterdam and the rest of the country. Location is most important in Amsterdam. Some streets can be extremely noisy because of the electric trams, the boats at the canals or the pubs nearby. Tourbusses are not allowed in the canal district nor most other streets in the city centre. Sometimes groups have to walk hundreds of metres with their luggage to the hotel, from where the bus had to drop them. We help you to avoid these kind of dissapointments.
